Tips for getting and staying well

This blog explores different aspects of pulling through after experiencing a terrible time, one or more of those greater or lesser traumas that really test survival. The usual preamble for self-help, self-care, and wellness topics, including relaxation for stress, applies: all suggestions and exercises are intended, where appropriate, to complement and not replace the advice of a qualified medical doctor, psychotherapist or other health or legal practitioner who should prove satisfactory on consultation and meet high standards of competence and approachability. Many of the techniques and observations have helped the author through a crisis, and have been weighed up for relevance, ease of practice, and potential for positive effects.  Please feel free to respond or add other ideas in the comments section.
